McGee's Inn is a historic 1886, 14-room Victorian Mansion on a quiet avenue in downtown Ottawa. Take a trip to the past at Auberge McGee's Inn, located within walking distance of all major tourist attractions, sights, businesses, convention centres and meeting locations.
McGee's was built for John J. McGee, Fourth Clerk of the Privy Council of Canada, and half brother of colourful Irish-born politician, Thomas D'Arcy McGee.
McGee's has 14 elegant guest rooms - 3 are Jacuzzi Ensuite Theme Rooms for that special occasion. Each room comes equipped with A/C, cable TV, phone (free local calling), voicemail, small fridge, internet access (Dataport or wireless), closet and a desk/work area.
Choose between "The Victorian Roses Suite" and "The Egyptian Room" both with fireplaces.
Built in 1886, the Inn features a 12' ceiling and a large bay window in the Parlour where a complimentary breakfast is served in front of the cherrywood fireplace. This room was the McGee Family Living Room.
We offer a full breakfast of Eggs Benedict or omelet with sausages or homemade fruit crepes, fruit salad, yogourt, cereals, freshly baked muffins and/or croissants, fruit juices, freshly brewed coffee and tea (including herbal teas).
McGEE'S is a member of OTCA and OAA and has been featured in various periodicals and magazines such as "Country Inns" in the United States and is a recipient of the Ottawa Hospitality Award.

When contestants on Wheel of Fortune spin the big wheel next month, a trip to Canada’s capital is going to be one of the prizes.
Ottawa's McGee's Inn will be featured October 9th, as part Fall Foliage Week. The show will be celebrating the changing of the leaves in Ontario and Quebec. A lucky winner could be headed for a week-long stay at the inn.
"It’s exciting," says innkeeper Judy Armstrong. "Wheel of Fortune is one of the most popular game shows in history. Seeing Vanna White and Pat Sajak talk about Ottawa and our inn is a pretty big thrill."
