A Housekeeping Cottage Resort on Lake of Bays - Muskoka, Ontario
Between Huntsville and Algonquin Park
Logging Chain Lodge offers housekeeping cottage accommodations, in Dwight, Ontario on Lake of Bays. We are proud to be family owned and operated since 1947. Our 5 cabins and 2 unit duplex cottage are very clean, modern and well maintained.
Accommodations - Our 7 cottage units are fully equipped and feature automatic electric heating in each room. A four piece bathroom and wall mounted hairdryer are standard equipment in each cottage.
Each cabin has a fully-equipped kitchen with a full size electric stove and oven, refrigerator, ample cupboard space, coffee maker, cooking utensils, dishes, cutlery, toaster and microwave.
Bedrooms are comfortable and have double beds, single beds or bunk beds ("D" cottage only). Linens, pillows and blankets are provided. Towels (bathroom and beach) are not provided.
Living rooms feature pine paneling with a natural satin finish and a large picture window overlooking the Lake of Bays. Satellite TV in each cottage and Wireless High-Speed internet (resort wide) are free of charge.
Swimming and Sunbathing - 340 feet of gently sloping sand beach on Muskoka's Lake of Bays. Our property is located directly across from Dwight Beach, a very quiet public beach. The lake water is temperate and clear.
Boating and Sailing - With over 160 miles of shoreline, Lake of Bays is one of Ontario's finest waterways for boating and sailing. Canoes and a tandem kayak are available free for use on site and include all safety equipment required. Motor boats and Sea-Doo Watercraft are available for rent on the lake. A boat ramp is available for those with their own boat.
Fishing - Anglers can troll for lake trout or wet a line for bass in one of the many bays on the lake. Fishing rod rentals are available on site and we let you know what fish are in season and where the "hotspots" are in the bay.
Kid's Program - During July and August, children enjoy various crafts twice a week from 9:30 until 11:00. This program is geared to children ages 4 - 12. Children ages 6 and under must be accompanied by an adult - and it's free of charge ! Family activity nights are planned throughout the week and include canoeing and archery (weather permitting).
Location - Our location on Highway 60 is very convenient for visiting Algonquin Park just 20 KM (12 miles) away - and to downtown Huntsville, the largest community in Muskoka, with its excellent shopping. Weekly Rental - $1100.00 - $1400.00
(Saturday to Saturday only)
* All Rates are in Canadian Dollars and are subject to 5% Provincial Sales Tax and 5% Goods and Services Tax.

Deposit on Reservation:
Summer weekly rentals - $300.00 deposit is required at the time of booking; balance is due 14 days prior to arrival date.
Nightly rentals - A guarantee credit card number is required at the time of booking; payment is due upon check-out.
Cancellation Policy:
Summer Weekly Rentals - Cancellations must be received at least 4 weeks prior to the arrival date in order to receive a full refund minus a $50 cancellation fee. If a reservation cancellation is received with less than 4 weeks notice, the balance of the rental cost will be billed to the credit card on file and no refund will be issued unless the cottage can be re-booked for the full rental period. The $50 cancellation fee will still apply. There will be no exceptions to this policy.
Nightly Rentals - Cancellations must be received at least 24 hours prior to the arrival date. A $50 cancellation fee will be billed to the guarantee credit card. If a reservation cancellation is received with less than 24 hours notice or notice of a cancellation has not been received and there is a 'no show', the equivalent of one night's stay will be billed to the guarantee credit card.

We accept cash, travelers cheques, Visa, and MasterCard.
Restrictions:
- Sorry, no pets allowed. Boarding is available nearby.
