Open year round, Leisure Estates Bed & Breakfast Retreat is a four seasons paradise situated in the heart of Mennonite Country and only 5 minutes to St. Jacobs. Here you'll discover a friendly atmosphere coupled with lovely guest rooms, making it the perfect spot for that special outing.
The estate features a secluded 50-acre retreat bordering the town of Elmira, with a new 5,000 square foot custom built stone house. The interior decor of our house is of a rustic post & beam structure finished in all natural wood stain. We have central air, 4 guest rooms - 3 queen and 1 twin bedded - all with new furniture, bedding, pillow top mattresses, table, chair, satellite TV, DVD and private ensuite baths.
Enjoy the privacy of a separate shared 1,500 square foot living area with private entry on the lower level. This spacious area comes with all the amenities you require in a kitchen, dining, living room. Full breakfast is served in our large country kitchen.
Accommodations:
Sunrise Suite - Located on the main floor, the charm of this luxurious suite is enhanced by the cathedral ceiling with rustic beams and indirect lighting. The room has a pillow top queen bed plus optional single bed, fireplace , and walk-out to a large country porch.
Sunset Loft - Located on the upper level, this spacious room is accessible from the great room balcony or a private entry at the wood lot parking area. Beautifully outfitted with all new furnishings, including pillow top queen bed, pullout futon for third person, fireplace, and a 3 piece ensuite bathroom.
Heritage Haven - Heritage Haven is accessible from the front or woodlot parking area. This luxurious room has fireplace, new pillowtop queen,single,and sofa beds and private ensuite bath, plus in- room basin . Can accommodate up to five .people.
Moonlight Loft - This pretty room is on the upper level, and is accessible from the great room or private entry facing the woodlot. From here you have an excellent view of the rear yard and gardens. Room has fireplace,all new furniture, including pillow top queen bed and a 3 piece ensuite bathroom.

The Great Room:
Similar to much of the house interior the great room is finished in rustic red pine, resembling a mid 1800's barn structure. Large floor to ceiling windows provide abundant daytime light, and the dozens of "starlike" mini-potlights in the ceiling provide a distinctive evening ambience.
Loft Lounge:
This unique sitting area, with its wide plank flooring is in a balcony overlooking the great room. From here you can see the property entrance, as well as a nice view of the rear yard.
Kitchen:
A large country kitchen with shaker cabinets finished in cherry wood and old iron hardware, complete with modern day appliances to produce home cooked "down on the farm" meals. It is from here we often spot deer as they frolic on the back lawn.
Dining Room:
From the dining room, which has a decor tastefully comprised of farm antiques, you have a good view of the kitchen, great room, and outdoor gardens. Here you are served an "all you can eat" sumptuous breakfast of home baking, and bacon & eggs or pancakes & sausage plus toast, jam, cereal, fruit, juice and coffee.
The Outdoors:
Enjoy biking, cross country skiing, snowmobiling or a 10-minute walk into Elmira on one of the many groomed 9' wide trails in our 20 acre woodlot.
Discover the peace and tranquility of nature as you meander around the 2 acres of lush tree shaded lawn and gardens. You may feel a touch of nostalgia when you see the grazing cattle or view the numerous restored horse drawn implements from days gone by.
