At Foymount Farm, we offer cottage rental accommodation on our 100 acre hobby farm, ideal for reunions and family vacations.
Set in the picturesque Ottawa Valley in Renfrew County, 2 hours west of Ottawa, 15 minutes from Eganville and 2 minutes from Lake Clear.
Our spacious cottages offer full kitchen, bathroom, separate bedrooms and wood stoves.
Our guests can join in the fun on the farm, horseback riding, donkey rides, collecting eggs, or petting the animals.
Accommodations:
3 Bedroom Cottage:
Our three bedroom cottage sleeps seven people and is available year round. The cottage rental offers space and all the home comforts. This cottage has it's own backyard with seating, fire pit and BBQ. In the winter it is heated with oil and has a wood stove. (wood supplied)
The cottage comes with a full kitchen that includes a dishwasher, stove, large fridge, pots, pans cutlery, dishes ect. Coffee maker, toaster and microwave and a breakfast bar that looks out towards the woods. If you are lucky you may see a deer, especially in the fall.
The three bedrooms have twin and queen beds all supplied with clean bedding.
The bathroom has a shower, washing machine and dryer. Hot and cold water. Towels are supplied.
2 Bedroom Cottage:
Our two bedroom cottage rental is available from April until Harvest Thanksgiving. It offers space and comfort. This one is situated near the play park and looks out across the fields and at the animals. It has a fire pit and a BBQ.
The kitchen has a stove, large fridge, pots, pans , cutlery, dishes ect. Coffee maker, toaster and microwave. It has a dining area in the living area.
The 2 bedrooms have twin and queen beds all supplied with clean bedding.
The bathroom has a shower, hot and cold water, washing machine and dryer. Towels are supplied.
Cabin in the Woods:
The log cabin can be used for additional sleeping. It is available for the summer months. It has an out house only.
About Us:
Your hosts Bodo and Sue have recently moved to Canada from the U.K. and so you will find us at the very beginning of providing you with affordable unique accommodation in what we think is a very special place in the Ottawa Valley, Ontario.
Foymount Farm is set off the road by it's own track in the midst of peace and quiet surrounded by tree covered hills. It is located on 108 acres, mainly wooded lot with a few farm animals, horses, fruit trees and home grown vegetables.
We hope that our visitors will reserve Foymount Farm for their get together's, whether it be family reunions or vacations, workshops or meetings or a "get away from it all" experience in company, or solitude. We hope that you will experience a sense of calm and well being during your stay here and enjoy the walks and natural beauty that surrounds them.
At certain times of the year there may be fresh, organic, home grown vegetables and free range eggs from the farm for your use.

There are some great trails for walking, cross country ski and trail riding or just come and relax in the beautiful quiet surroundings.
Come and meet Blossom Charlie and Ginger the horses, Eyora the donkey, Blackberry and Cider the cows, and ducks, ducklings, hens and chicks and our small flock of sheep.
Trail riding, horse and donkey rides can be arranged at owners discretion and suitability.
We are just 2 minutes drive from Lake Clear with it's public beach and great fishing.
